Wing-cases usually yellow with black markings (as illustrated), but
colouration rather variable and sometimes almost completely black.
Common throughout Britain, on flowers in woods, hedgerows, etc.

First recorded in Britain at Wisley, Surrey in 1994, and now seems to
be established in several parts of SE England - feeds on the leaves of rosemary (Rosmarinus), lavendar (Lavandula) and Thyme (Thymus);
